This is an oil painting I worked on for a few weeks as an in-class painting. I thought it turned out pretty well considering I missed a class!

Frankenmuth Oktoberfest poster
This is the finished version of the festival poster I was working on for the Frankenmuth Oktoberfest in Frankenmuth, Michigan. This was my final choice for a subject mostly because I loved the fact that they held wiener dog races in the beer hall. This was done first as a line drawing, and then taken into PS for the painting.
Hipster Transportation: Pedicab
This is the second character in the on going series I'm completing for my Advertising and Graphic Design class regarding Transportation: Columbus Pedicabs. This character also represents a type of driver you may find in the Short North. This is also done originally as a pencil sketch and then taken into Ai and PS.

Columbus Pedicab part 1
This illustration is part of a project on transportation. My group and I are focusing on Columbus Pedicabs as our means of transportation. This specific character is depicting one of many drivers you may come across when taking a pedicab in columbus. This illustration is done primarily in illustrator and then taken into photoshop for some tweaking. There are two other characters that I will be posting soon!

Frankenmuth Oktoberfest poster
These are a few concept sketches for a festival poster on the Frankenmuth Oktoberfest in Frankenmuth, Michigan. The festival, being an Oktoberfest, focuses on traditional German heritage, including Hofbrauhaus beer, traditional German cuisine, dancing, music, and wiener dog races! The wiener dogs were my driving force for two of the three illustrations as you can see. I ultimately decided upon talking to my other classmates that I will focus on refining the third illustration, which I will also be posting here soon!

Self Portrait Under Painting
This is an underpainting I did for my Model Painting Class. We had to do a self portrait while doing an in class painting with the same characteristics. This was done in oil.

Colonial Squid
This little sketch has quite a funny backstory. For the longest time my boyfriend has been asking me to illustrate for him a colossal squid attacking a city... Like I usually do, I put it off until one day he asked me about it and finally said "Fine, just draw some... colonial squid or something". Being the person I am, THIS was what I actually decided to focus on. Needless to say, I finished it, and it made out to be a nice, quirky Christmas gift that we both loved!
